Less than 1% of refugees globally have access to higher education. CEMS has recently partnered with Kiron to help combate this issue. Kiron believes that everybody has the right to fulfill their potential and improve their life prospects through education. Their vision is to provide millions of refugees worldwide with the opportunity to graduate with an accredited university degree, free of charge. They also leverage blended learning, where online courses are complemented with live and direct online tutoring and offline services like their Buddy Programme, Mentoring Programme, Study Hubs and Career Services. We connected with Kiron’s Fabienne Huber to learn more.
1/Could you briefly describe Kiron’s history, goals and internal operations?
