The CEMS Alumni of the Year is a joint campaign by the CAA in close collaboration with the CEMS Student Board, which gives the CEMS community the opportunity to learn about CEMS alumni on a regular basis and vote for the favorite candidate as the CEMS Alumni of the Year. In July, we met Maximilian Tayenthal, Co-Funder and CFO of N26, a German based bank that uses advanced technologies to operate transactions.

CEMS Club Conference Istanbul: Fall Semester 2018

The CEMS Club Support (CCS) Function of the Student Board held the second CEMS Club Conference (CCC) for the year 2018 at Koç University from 27-29th September. The CCC is an event that was initiated for the CEMS Club Presidents (CCPs) to share best practices, get insight into CEMS Global Office and Student Board projects, address burning topics and to build network with each other. It is a useful platform to meet and discuss common issues with other presidents while creating new relationships and a more cooperative environment across the CEMS Clubs.

Twenty-two CEMS Club Presidents from around the world and five organizing members from the Student Board gathered in Istanbul for the CEMS Club Conference of the 2018 fall semester.

CEMS Asia Pacific Forum in Hong Kong

The annual CEMS Asia Pacific Forum presents
an exceptional occasion for students of CEMS member schools to enhance their
understanding of opportunities in the Asia Pacific Region and build global
connections with local business communities. In its fourth edition, the Forum was hosted
by the HKUST Business School in Hong Kong for the first time in mid-September
2018. Some 70 students from 20+ CEMS Schools worldwide representing over 30
nationalities participated in a series of activities centered around the theme:
“Landing Your Career in Asia”.

Because Asia is where the economic excitement is and where the growth is taking place, this is the region where many students looking for a global career see a wealth of new possibilities ahead.

CEMS Student Board Meeting at HKUST in Hong Kong

The CEMS Student Board held its second meeting of the year 2018 at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology from 12th to 16th September. During the meeting, the Student Board worked together with the CEMS Global Office on future projects and collaborations. The Student Board meetings are a crucial moment of time when all team members can be at the same location to discuss and work together.
